My coaching philosophy
Born in France, I grew up playing a range of sports recreationally and competing in tennis at a national level, earning my tennis coaching certification at just 14 years old. Coaching from such a young age sparked my passion for sharing knowledge and helping others achieve their goals—an enthusiasm that has remained a cornerstone of my life and career.
More recently, I found my way to CrossFit and began coaching in 2014 at a gym in London, UK. Leaving behind a successful career in finance, I pursued coaching full-time to align my work with my values and interests. This transition allowed me to combine my love for sport with my dedication to helping others excel, both physically and mentally. In 2018, I completed the Redpill Training mentorship and had the opportunity to work for a few years alongside my mentors and friends, Phil Mansfield and James Jowsey. This experience shaped my coaching philosophy and led me to specialize in individualized coaching, developing tailored training strategies to meet each athlete’s unique needs and goals.
With a background in mathematics, I take a highly analytical and data-driven approach to coaching. I use scientific principles to design training programs that are both structured and adaptable, ensuring athletes can maximize performance while minimizing risk. This approach is especially valuable in competition settings, where objective analysis of pacing and strategic decision-making can make the difference between good and great performances.
My foundation in tennis, a highly technical and skill-based sport, has also played a significant role in how I coach. I prioritize technical proficiency and quality of movement, recognizing their importance in optimizing performance, preventing injuries, and ensuring long-term athletic development. This movement-first philosophy is at the heart of my work with CrossFit athletes.
As a coach, I believe in the power of education and clear communication, helping athletes better understand their training, lifestyle, and potential. My goal is to create a collaborative and informed approach, allowing those I work with to take ownership of their development, paving the way for meaningful progress and long-term success.
